Glenbrae Community Fund: Grant Applications Now Open
June 25, 2026

Notice to all residents and community groups:
The Glenbrae Community Fund is now accepting applications for the 2026 grant round. Grants of between fifty and one thousand five hundred pounds are available to individuals, community groups, and organisations undertaking projects that benefit the village and its residents.
Eligibility and Criteria
The fund supports a wide range of activities, including but not limited to: community events and cultural activities, environmental and conservation projects, educational initiatives, improvements to community facilities, and projects that support vulnerable or isolated residents. Both new and existing projects are eligible to apply.
Previous grants have funded the primary school wildlife garden, the village hall renovation, the wildlife survey equipment, and the Young Farmers Club’s training programme. This year, the fund has approximately four thousand two hundred pounds available, boosted by the record-breaking ceilidh.
How to Apply
Application forms are available from the Village Hall or can be downloaded from the village website. The closing date for applications is Friday 15 August 2026. Applications will be assessed by the Community Fund panel, with decisions announced by Monday 1 September.
For informal advice before applying, contact Treasurer Catriona Stewart through the Village Hall.
